
How to season and roast winter veggies!
How about some Hearty & Flavor-Packed – Winter Veggies this season!
Winter veggies are dense and robust, making them perfect for bold seasoning and longer roasting times during the wintery months. Bonus tip: living in the cold northeast roasting veggies helps take a chill out of the air! This is why we love winter veggies! So much more than a colorful choice! We try to have veggies at least 3 or 4 times a week and over the winter, these are our faves!
So what are the best Winter Veggies to Roast?
In my opinion they are Cauliflower, Broccoli and Root vegetables (parsnips, turnips, carrots, potatoes). Of course, we roast them and season them with different Tastefully Simple seasonings! Possibilities are endless!

No matter the season, the process stays the same:
Chop vegetables into similar sizes first, then
Toss with olive oil
Sprinkle with Tastefully Simple seasoning of choice
Winter veggies benefit from higher heat and time—425°F for 30–40 minutes, flipping halfway. Serve right away or use in soups/stews!
